A SOLDIER'S PERSPECTIVE
THE WEB'S LEADING MILITARY BLOG SINCE 2004
I finally emptied the Parking Lot Pennies Pig (we outgrew the turtle) and realized I was almost $3 behind. So, I tallied everything up and we’ve surpassed the $50 mark.
If you’re new to the site, click HERE, HERE, or HERE to find out how Parking Lot Pennies work.
The rules are quite simple: pick up money people have dropped, thrown or discarded. They cannot come from another person’s house, vehicle or office. You cannot drop the money yourself and then pick it up. It can be in any denomination (our largest catch is a $10 bill we found in the bushes in Vegas). If you see someone drop it, you must make an effort to let them know before considering it a PLP. If the person sees that he/she drops it and doesn’t care, you do not have to inform them. The money may ONLY be used for something the ENTIRE family has agreed upon. In our case, a trip to Disney Land or some other theme park. Money may be donated from friends and relatives as long as it conforms to the previous rules of discovery.
A new rule that popped up as a result of the $10 bill find: You cannot push your wife out of the way while diving for money you see on the ground!!
If you’ve got the time, I could use some help HERE. It has to do with the Kill, Kill, Kill book. We need more help in there. You may have to register to comment.
