Sorry, I haven’t been posting much lately. I’ve been in Vegas and then yesterday doing other things all day. Today I will be publishing my next IED roll-up as well as anything else I can think of. But first, I promised that I’d post William’s sister’s letter that I also got. I got a short letter and a picture, but I’m posting the picture this time. By the way, HERE is a picture of Madison and William that hey had previously sent me.

  1. Well Madison’s words and picture are staring me in the face and, since I have not yet thanked a soldier today, I will thank you CJ. By the way, did you see Angel when you were in Vegas – can’t imagine that you didn’t! Sounds like you have alot going on these days, so don’t stress yourself out more when you don’t have time to post as much. I don’t think your readers are going anywhere!

  2. I Thank you as well CJ, and I am with Sabo, we aren’t going anywhere.

  3. We’ll all just keep checking on you no matter what. Go do what you need to do:)

  4. Now that priceless! Thank you for sharing. Please tell Madison how wonderful a job she did.
    Thank you CJ.

  5. CJ,
That drawing of Madison’s is great and better still is what she wrote. I think these kids are wise way beyond their years! Anyway, thank you CJ!!

Oh yeah, we will always be here, take your time about posting :) !!

  6. CJ,
I want to thank you also for your service, I greatly appreciate what you do for our country everyday!!

I really like Madison’s drawing and what she said is truly great! I think these kids are wise way beyond their years!!

Oh yeah, we will always be here so take your time posting! :)

  7. I so wish you could have seen her face light up when she saw her “artwork” online! It was priceless. The best part is I didn’t tell her what to draw OR say. So maybe my message is sinking in.
Thank you to everyone who has said such wonderful things about my children. I do try really hard to teach them the right things. At times like this you see the pay offs.

  8. The picture you posted was beautiful. It reminds me of one a little Iraqi boy made for me. He was one that we saw a lot of our patrols, and I got the chance to talk to him a few times. So one day he shows up with a folded piece of paper with a U.S. flag sticker on it, and in the inside he had drawn me a picture. It was a big heart and on the inside there was and Iraqi flag and a U.S. flag drawn with Omar and Jesika written below the flags. I really had a hard time not to tear up in front of the kid. Even if he did spell my name wrong.
