The Code Pink whackos who have gathered on the corner near Walter Reed Memorial Hospital to protest the war and bring down soldier spirits trying to recoup in the hospital have lost their permit.
They let the permit expire and Protest Warrior quickly snapped it up January 20th. Now, all four corners of the intersection are controlled by pro-soldier, pro-Iraq war supporters. Code Pink should have been a little more organized. I guess if more people were as dedicated to bringing down our injured soldiers, they wouldn’t have forgotten. Seeing as how they were more about trying to get publicity instead of the roots of their cause, they are now relegated to protesting a block away at a closed entrance where soldiers won’t have to see their displays of stupidity. This is great news.
Long live Protest Warrior and the Freepers.

Gosh it’s been awhile since I’ve been here reading your blog CJ. Sorry about that. Things are still pretty busy here in Texas, but starting to settle down a little bit. Glad to hear those idiots aren’t on that corner any longer. I know the time I went to Walter Reed with Alina, my first instinct was to point my car in their direction and proceed to mow them all down. Though I do have a bit more sense than that, it sure was tempting when that thought passed through my head. Hope you’re all enjoying the “cold” weather in Maryland. I’m kind of enjoying the warmth here in Texas! Miss you guys!
