I was able to keep my own dinner down as I watched her facehole bloviate on national TV. Here’s what’s going on:

The Veterans For Peace are marching 30 miles a day from the 13th of March to the 19th of March beginning in Mississippi and ending in New Orleans. Personally, I’d want to march in time to arrive for Mardi Gras, but I’m probably not the promotional whiz Sheehag probably thinks she is. For those of you who are seeking meaning in the fact that they plan to be in N.O. on the 19th – it will be the 3rd anniversary of when we crossed the border into Iraq. Pretty slick, eh?

Anyway, during the 3 1/2 minute interview on Fox, Sheehag was interviewed about her involvement in the march.

“I wanted to call attention to the fact of the devastation there,” said Sheehag.

STOP THE PRESSES!! There was devastation in New Orleans?!?! When did this happen? Why am I learning this from Sheehag? Give me a break.

One of the comments she made over and over again was that people haven’t been allowed to return to their homes. Cindy also wants to draw attention to that. She advocates that they be able to return to their homes. Then what, Cindy? Most of them don’t have a home left. What about medical care? What about other resources needed to sustain life that aren’t there? Where will all those kids go to school? Where will they buy food and clothing?

I think Cindy needs to be brought down once and for all. Here’s what I advocate: Politicians release the citizens of New Orleans into Cindy’s care. She gently leads them to their homes or what’s left of them. Then, Cindy has to personally answer for what they are supposed to do next.

She didn’t miss the opportunity to renounce the war either. She hopes to pay for all of this by ending the war in Iraq and using the money we’re spending there to pay for the reconstruction in N.O. Cindy isn’t very smart. She claims there are thousands of trailers in New Orleans “just waiting to be occupied”. I guess her press secretary didn’t pass her the right note cards in this instance since, as we’ve debated in the comments on this site, the trailers are in Arkansas because the Louisiana government won’t allow them to be delivered.

In a classic quote only Cindy Sheehag can utter, she says that she believes “the hurricane and the war in Iraq are intimately connected”. Of course…After all, without Iraq we’d never have hurricanes in the Gulf Region.

When asked why she travelled to Venezuela to speak with Hugo Chavez when he detains and tortures his own people, Cindy took that as yet another cue to playa hate on the U.S. Instead of denouncing Venezuela for their actions, she justified by saying “our government detains and tortures people”. She also called on ALL governments to treat everyone humanely. What would we do without her voice of reason?

  1. You’re a brave man–I worry too much about my eyesight. I look forward to your update.

  2. Sorry, could not watch her.Had just eaten dinner and I wanted to keep it ;)

  3. CJ: She isn’t quite up there with the caliber of Hanoi Jane. However, she’s certainly milking her popularity for what it’s worth. She’s diggin her own hole into darkness.

  4. Hanoi Jane went to the enemy for a photo op, and in the meantime betrayed our pows. I say we let Sheehan go hang out with Zarqawi, or even bin Ladin, for as long as she likes and get bunches of pics of herself with them.

That way we can just bomb the crap out of her location as she gets her pic taken with either s.o.b.

  5. CJ,
I saw about a minute of her interview on Fox and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why Fox News did an interview with her. I guess they say fair and balanced and they were afraid someone would accuse them of not being that!

She is playing right into the hands of our enemies. How would she defend our freedoms?! If it were left up to Cindy to do, we certainly wouldn’t be a free country and she wouldn’t be able to go around putting our country down every chance she got!

  6. Ever hear of Joe Johnson? The liberal msm won’t cover his story. His son, Justin, was in the same unit as Casey, sheehan’s son. They were even friends. Justin was killed a few days after Casey. Instead of crying to the liberal media and the anti-American protesters Joe Johnson enlisted in the National Guard at the age of 48. He looked for a unit going to Iraq and was accepted. He did go to Iraq and served his tour. Here is his story: http://209.157.64.201/focus/f-news/1501796/posts or this one: http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20051012/news_1n12johnson.html

  7. Howdy, love your take on this. I recall during the Viet Nam war a General made a comment about an anti-war singer/girlbud of Dylan’s. Said some Ranger unit should abduct her,sew up her mouth then drop her into a VC infested area. Not only made Army Times but every other paper. Where is that unit when it is needed again!

  8. BOY, was I wrong! I could’ve sworn I lived thru Hurricane Alicia tearing the roof right off our house back in ’83, but that predates Iraq by quite a bit, so it must’ve all been a bad, bad dream.
..’”the hurricane and the war in Iraq are intimately connected”. After all, without Iraq we’d never have Hurricanes in the Gulf region’.

Huh. Must’ve been termites, then. ;-)

  9. Gotta add, as to your rhetorical ‘what would we ever do without her voice of reason?’ – miss it, and her, not one iota.

  10. Word is Sheehag will protest at the funeral for Senior Airman Alecia Good on Tuesday in Vacaville, CA. As the person in charge for the Patriot Guard Riders, I will have to exercise every bit of restraint I can not to knock that idiot on her rear!! I will have had good practice on restraint, though. I’m dealing with Fred Phelps on Monday at Sgt. 1st Class Chad Gonsalves’ funeral. Hope all your readers will say prayers for our fallen, and for the PGR!

  11. As the chapter leader of the South Mississippi Protest Warriors, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I am in the process of organizing a counter-protest called Not in Our Name – Katrina. Wish me luck!

  12. The Mississippi Gulf coast was devestated. In many cases worse than New Orleans. I resent those who will attempt to use the misery and devastation of my beautiful Gulf Coast. We in Gulfport, Long Beach, Biloxi, and other cities have a lot to contend with without those moonbats adding to our misery. We also support the military very strongly and appreciate all the help from the Gulfport NCBC and Keesler Air Force Base.

  13. Cheryl: Now THAT would be worth watching! It’s tough to tolerate numskulls like sheehag since they are that way by their own choice–I admire you for that though.

  14. CJ – Fox News used to drive me nuts! (ok, still does – Alan Colmes, Charlie Wrangle, Bob Beckel, on and on …)

I think the goal is to do exactly what putting these vaccuous pockmarks of society is doing: gets us all to go nuts at the TV. :) The only reason to bring Sheehag back is to get us all riled up and yelling at the TV, further setting our resolve to combat this ever constant barrage of anti-Americanism out there.

    Anti-Americanism _inside_ our own borders.

Honeslty, I have to turn the channel or walk out of the room when Bob Beckel or Susan Estrich start to spew … ugh.

    Take care everyone!

  15. Cheryl, you have MY thanks and respect. email me some pictures to publish.

  16. Cheryl,
I am praying for you and for your group and also for the families of the fallen soldiers. Thank you for all that you and the Patriot Guard Riders do!! God Bless You All!!

  17. CJ, I can no longer stand even looking at her, it simply makes my skin crawl!! I can say nothing about her that wouldn’t make me sound like a foul-mouthed lush on a bar-stool at a corner smokey pub.

  18. I know what you mean Pam. That lady is scary! I was on Ebay today checking on something and ran across this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/peibaby/nomore.jpg

  19. Warthog555 and others,

CPL Joe Johnson enlisted before his son was killed. They were to go over there together. In fact, they would have been there together had Joe not hurt his knee in training. He enlisted in a National Guard unit that was heading over the same time as the 1st CAV. Because fate had it, it didn’t happen and it may have been a good thing that Joe didn’t go over there at that time. He says so himself in the article.

SPC Justin Johnson was attached to my husband unit a month before deploying since my husband’s unit was small and needed a bit more manpower. I know Mrs. Johnson personally and she is an awesome lady.

I met her in person once 1st CAV was home and they had a ceremony to uncase the colors and to unveil the memorial for those who fell in Iraq under 1st CAV. After the ceremony, the troop my husband was in had a change of command ceremony and she came to it along with another awesome guy…SSG Jay Fondren and family. SSG Jay Fondren was also in the same unit as Justin. Jay lost both his legs and a right thumb when his Humvee was hit by an IED. This happened about 6 or 7 months after Justin was killed.

I had only “talked” to Mrs. Johnson via email since I was one of the POCs for my husband’s unit. When I met her and Jay Fondren, I couldn’t keep my composure. I teared up. I knew Jay’s wife and she is a strong lady. I hadn’t formally met Jay since they were only attached to us for a month before being deployed. I still keep in contact with Jan and she keeps me updated on Joe. Not a day goes by that I don’t pray for Joe to return home safely so Jan can stop worrying. But I don’t know if she ever will…her other son, Joshua, is already in Afghanistan or fixing to go to Afghanistan being in the Special Forces.

Hopefully this link works…It’s a picture take of SPC Justin Johnson the day he died. He is in the humvee waiting to head out.

Look for a book coming out soon…not sure what it’s called but Jan emailed me asking if I happened to have any pictures of Justin. I told her I had this only one. Someone is writing a book which is going to feature SPC Justin Johnson as well as SPC Casey Sheehan. The two did know each other and were good friends. I am sure Jan will email me again once it is out. I’ll post the name on here when that happens.

I don’t care what your view is on this war, but one thing needs to remain, and that is the support of our troops. Say what you want, but I am not arguing that point. Respond how you want, but don’t expect a response back from me. Most of you feel the way I do anyway, I am talking to that select few that argue no matter the issue!
