I’ve been meaning to post this since I took the picture but kept forgetting to get it hosted. These Girl Scouts, thanks to Operation Pinecone, were at the Malogne House at Walter Reed giving away FREE Girl Scout Cookies to wounded vets. They had just boxes and boxes of them. You should have seen the smile they put on their (and my when I got my box) faces.

I cannot personally think of anything that would more please a wounded warrior than to have Girl Scout cookies delivered free to the “door”. It’s not apple pie but does it say America? You bet it does! Does it say thank-you for all they have been through? A strong affirmative there too. God bless the little givers and God bless those who recieved!

A lot of adults in this country should look at the example that these young girls are setting! Makes you awfully proud of those young ladies.

Amen, Terri!
