I only caught the last 5 minutes but I am SO angry. Phelps is a disgusting person. GAH!

I have to agree with you Kate. My husband and I watched it and he commented that if this country is so “perverted” then he and his followers need to find a country that is less perverted.
The very people they are protesting are the very people who have died to let them protest and to spit disgusting, horrible things.
Phelps said that the reporter didn’t read his bible to read that what they are doing is right. I have read my bible. I would like to know what version bible they are using because in the King James version doesn’t say anything about the crap Phelps and his followers are doing.
Anyway, off to get kids into bed.

Rats! I missed it too. I didn’t know it was on tonight. Fred Phelps couldn’t have said anything that was good though!

They wanted to show both sides of it. However, when Phelps started to tell the reporter he was perverted and going to hell, it sorta took a turn! They had one guy on there from IN against Phelps. So to me, they did a good job at portraying the positive side of it.
Let me put it this way, if I were a Phelps follower, I’d be mad at the slant of negativity they put toward our group!! Thank goodness I am “perverted” too and don’t see eye to eye with Phelps on this!!

Oops, after “They had one guy on there from IN against Phelps. So to me, they did a good job at portraying the positive side of it” I meant to add that they didn’t have anyone on there in favor of Phelps. Paula Zahn introduced the segment with some man reporter (I can’t think of his name) and then after it was over, talked to a senator from IN. So, like I said, it was actually a positive story, in the end.
