Information Perspectives April 12 2006
 — By CJ

This one is actually from my 4-year old daughter, Hannah. We have been teaching the kids the meaning of Easter. Something’s wrong when they think it all has to do with bunnies and eggs. At the risk of sounding sacriligious, I’m going to continue with this one.

During our discussion, we asked Hannah why we celebrate Easter. Anissa whispered something into her ear and Hannah proudly proclaimed:

“The Erection!!” (that’s a 4-year old version of “resurrection” for all those still wondering about Easter)

Emily and I couldn’t stop laughing, even though we felt we were on a deep spiral into the bowels of hell for doing so. Of course, then we had to explain than an erection is when a tall building is constructed or a tower put up or when you stand up straight.

And that’s today’s Chris-ism, filed under Chris’s Perspective.

  4. That’s too funny! We need to have our FHE about it as well. I was planning on doing that this past Monday but something last minute came up and we didn’t get to do it. So, I think Saturday will be the day since it’s the day before.

  5. Looks like Hannah’s going to give young Chris a run for his money in this file. Lol!

  6. That’s really funny CJ! It’s difficult to keep from laughing when dealing with a four year old Ha! They are so sweet and innocent.

  7. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. I still prefer Anissa’s pronunciation of “freckles”.
