The media is out there again trying to bring shame upon any shred of success our military has had in Iraq. A little more than a week ago, I theorized what would happen because of how the media was handling the Haditha issue, something that in my mind has since been routed of credit. Oddly enough, the NEXT DAY my theory was proven.

Yesterday, the Los Angeles Slime published a piece casting doubt on American soldiers’ actions upon capturing Zarqawi. And wh0 was their source? According to “Muhammed”, the U.S. soldier “stomped on his stomach and his chest until he died and blood came out of his nose.” Muhammed said he lived near the hide-out from which he witnessed the beating. Oddly enough, the media can’t get their story straight.

According to a Reuters article on Saturday, 10 June,

“The house where Zarqawi last lived was extremely isolated. It was surrounded by thick palm groves that hid it from mud and cement houses a few hundred metres (yards) away.

The site is also well hidden from the main road 400 metres away, which cuts through lush green flatlands.”

I find it interesting that the media is reporting these accusations without first researching their validity. Camera shots of the home and video taken of the bombing, make it pretty clear that the home is well secluded among date and palm trees. How could this man see anything going on at a home that is 400 metres OFF the main road and surrounded by trees.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is a concerted effort to discredit our forces in Iraq. The enemy knows how to win. They know that they need to convince the American people that the soldiers in Iraq are committing horrible atrocities. They don’t need to convince the media of that; they already believe it. They will use every opportunity to inject their bias into our sympathetic news services.

However, we can’t forget the facts as they’re reported. Now, It could very well be that the man COULD see the house from his. That would conclude that the media lies or didn’t check facts before. Either way, at some point the media isn’t about reporting facts. They have become a mouthpiece for the terrorist propoganda machine. I just hope that Americans are seeing through the ruse.

  1. I don’t know why I don’t expect this out of the media??……the truth I mean. They slant it the way they want and how they want. They are spineless and murmurrers. They believe their own lies which in turn feed their lies. This makes me sick. What the crap happened to fair and balanced??!!!?? A big SCREW YOU to the press who instead of write the stories as they happen, they create and write the stories they want reported.

  2. The MSM not reporting the facts???? Say it ain’t so! (She said very sarcastically) Personally, I don’t believe a word of it. I am proud of our troops and I support them no matter what is reported. My only wish is that in the 52 minutes that he lived after the bombing, he saw the faces of our guys standing over him.

  3. You know what, I really don’t care how Zarqawi died but just so he died. I think our troops are heroes and I give them credit for ridding Iraq of the scourge that Zarqawi was.

It seems that eyewitness accounts that the Iraqis give of these events aren’t trustworthy. Just like some people in this country say things just to further their own agenda.

God Bless our troops! MSM get your facts straight before making up some stories that hurt our troops and country!!

  4. Karen, according to more than one source, he did see American troops before he died. In fact one source said he attempted to roll off the gurney that they had placed him on.

Reference the MSM. All of your comments are correct, but lets not lose hope. Some journalists are starting to get sick of it themselves and are getting positive writings past their editors. Lets hope that more of that happens.

Myself, I remember that old saying (I don’t know the source or the exact words) but it goes something like this: Don’t believe but half of what someone tells you and none of what you read in the newspaper.

Its served me well in my long life.

  5. Sorry if some think this is incensitive to say but I dont care how he died or how much pain he was in when he died. It was all well deserved. To me they (the Bin Ladens and the Zarqawis) scurry around like rats doing nothing but hiding and letting the brain washed ones die for their cause. I hope when he took his last breath all he saw was our Marines looking down and smiling their pearly whites at him….

  6. Thanks for the info Papa Ray. Just glad to know that he knew who got him.

  7. It’s possible that Iraqi police, who are reported to have been on the scene first may have taken out their anger on the monster. But who really cares?

This whole media circus is so revealing. Many of the talking heads and lefty losers who for months have said “how come you haven’t caught Zarqawi” turned on a dime and claimed it wasn’t important, or “why’d you have to kill him.”

They’ll do the same thing when we get bin Laden.

  8. You cant distinguish between bonifide enemy propaganda elements and our own news media anymore.

And since bonifide enemy propaganda elements are legitimate targets during a time of war…

  9. I hope he had a wad of tobacco spit right between the eyes and a swift kick in the genitals.
