This video is about 10 minutes long (11:30 with credits), but very somber. Actually, I think this video shows what JP and I will looks like when we’re 80.

I seen this video the other day. It is awesome. Even with no words it speaks right to your heart. I laughed at first then I cried. Very moving.
I can picture you and JP acting this way…heheh.

I logged on this blog out of curioity. I am not a blogger but my father was a Lt.Col. in the army and I am a pacifist. I never really knew him and wanted to know a little of what he felt and where he came from: ‘A Soldier’s Perspective’. your video helped to humanize him in my heart & mind. Thank you so much.

My father was a Lt.Col. during WW2 and Korea and died at the hands of alcoholism brought on by this extensive service.
I knew him briefly during life and never knew much about his life as a soldier. A recently read some letters he had written my mom describing the good and bad in his service. After watching your video my understanding was so much clearer.
I DO NOT our support our troops being in Iraq, I support their humanity, their patriotism, and finally wish we would brings these ‘boys’ home as soon as possible so that all these young men could finally learn what these words really mean. IT’S ABOUT BROTHERHOOD, not destruction.

Truly outstanding. Each day as I go out and raise the flag on my flagpole I will think of this and the great men and women who surround me in my neighborhood and in my battery.
Jennifer
That was beautiful. I saw a bumpersticker once that said “Like Your Freedom? Thank A Vet”. I kick myself every day for not getting it.
Thanks CJ
JP
I hope I’m still blogging then.

Or, at least, able to use the bathroom without wearing diapers.

JP, worry about being able to remember WHERE the bathroom is, first! One thing at a time…..

I saw this film too, and thought about e-mailing it to you…but thinking, “CJ’s probably already seen it.” So I come here, and sure enough, I was right.
It is very well done.

Great video, very touching. Puts things in perspective. I see these veterens here an there, proudly wearing their hats and I always try to stop and say hello and thank them for their service. Thank you!
