Friends,

Many of you have written me about the most recent article from OneUtah calling me a killer. The post underwent a revision in hopes of toning down the disgusting attack, but even that didn’t cut it. While I appreciate everyone’s concern, I think it is time to move away from OneUtah and their childish antics. You will find one last comment from me on OneUtah, and it will also appear at the end of this entry. For those that don’t want to read it, you do need to know a few things.

We need to move past the childish antics as I said above. We have a bigger. . .mission, if you will, here of sharing what is really going on in the military and the current theater of operations. I am going to respectfully ask that all of you just ignore OneUtah all together. Nothing of use comes from that blog, and it is filled with anger, hate, and misinformation. While I appreciate all the emails when Cliff or his friends step over the line, they are no longer needed. OneUtah no longer exists as far as I’m concerned, and many of the other authors here agree.

I want to add something before anyone from OneUtah jumps on this post with something along the lines of, “It is easier to ignore the truth.” There is very little truth that comes from any of you, and I hope that you will one day realize how foolish all of you act.

I truly wish everyone at OneUtah the best of luck in the future.

Cliff,

I’ve noticed a trend over the last few articles you’ve posted about ASP. The trend is quite easy to see, but I didn’t see it until the drive home from work today.

You entire fascination with ASP is for one purpose; attention. I don’t know why you crave such attention, but it can’t be healthy. Each post goes further and further into the realm of the disgusting, and my disbelief has grown as well. This post where you and Outraged call me a killer is proof of that.

I want to make something crystal clear. I have not ever killed person. My MOS is not directly combat related. It is very possible that I will never fire my weapon at another live person. My upcoming deployment to Iraq is that of a support role. I will work to keep the best and the brightest Marines in my beloved Corps that they can continue the good things we are doing. Those are the facts. They are indisputable.

Any further attempts you make to insult anyone associated with ASP will fall on “deaf ears. I am going to post this entire comment on ASP, and I’ll further recommend that we all move on with our lives. We must put the childish acts of you and the rest of One Utah behind us and focus on what really matters to us. It is something that you and a lot of other Americans don’t dare to do; bring to light the good things our military is doing in Iraq, Afghanistan, and across the globe. Despite what anyone thinks of the war, there are a lot of great things happening that don’t get enough attention.

I wish you all the best of luck.

Cpl M
