Sparks from the Anvil has the story. I’m working up something from a conversation I had yesterday outside my Congressman’s office about the “peace movement”. As you know, DC is saturated with protestors this week.

  1. why do I continue to be surprised by this? *sigh*

  2. That’s infuriating! As someone who has a loved one in Iraq, I can fully understand the anger and frustration these families felt. As much as we’d like to “trust” these people, when they do stuff like this, how can we? You can bet I’ll never watch anything of Montel’s again.

  3. Can I ask a question and not be thought of as a snarkmeister for it??

Why does ANY military member or family member do interviews with unproven outlets? I mean, if you were contacted by Foxnews, and I don’t mean just anyone there, but maybe Ollie North or someone like that, for an interview, then yes, I can see agreeing to do it. Otherwise, I would never let them film me because it’s ALL in the editing.

Montel was dishonorable and I must say that karma is a b*tch and he’ll get his. But maybe avoiding talk shows would be best all around.

  4. Especially Montel!!

  5. Maybe you should get out the memo, LL. All military, conservatives or just down-right normal people should ignore the media and not give them the time of day. Instead we should do an end run around them as direct to the people as we can get. What do you think? Would it take some of the hot air out of their balloon? :D

  6. I hate Montel’s show anyway!
