I continue to find it amazing that the majority of military bloggers seem to be supportive of the general war against terrorism and, specifically, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I say majority, yet I mean a VAST majority. You just don’t see many (personally, I haven’t seen one yet) that go around talking about how terrible everything is and that we should pull out now. You WILL find those people at anti-war rallies, but they don’t seem to want to put their protesting stance in the form of a blog for people to sharpshoot.

Case in point, I recently learned of a relatively new blog called Duty In The Desert. LTC Patrick, the author, is an Air Force pilot. He started his blog about eight months ago. Check out his archive cause he’s got a lot of good stories from all over the world that he’s flown.

  1. Great find CJ. Thanks for sharing!

  2. If a blog I read every day suggests another blog I have to check it out. The only problem is my “daily” read list is getting longer and longer LOL

  3. Again CJ, I have to say thank you for the great work you guys do here, and at ASM!!!!!!(and the others, of the like) Took a look at Duty In The Desert, it’s been added to my favs, along with ASP and ASM. :) As a wife of a soldier, who’s boots were on the ground in Iraq for a year, and a very grateful American, I applaud you, et al! Only wish I had known of all ya’ll sooner!

  4. LOL, Tracy I have that same problem. My list of daily visits keeps getting longer. And if I don’t check them all every day, I start missing a lot of great articles.

  5. Excellent blog he’s got there! Hey, CJ, if you get a chance pop over to my website and read my post for today http://www.patrioticmom.us I would really like your opinion. Thanks!
