Off Topic: Kurt Cobain Auction

Anyone that knows me knows that I’m a huge Nirvana fan. Like most people, I was hooked the minute the drums kicked in on “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. I own more than 20 Nirvana CD’s, to include singles, bootlegs, and overseas-only releases. To this day, I own just about every magazine with the band or Kurt Cobain on the cover. I even have some of the promotional posters used to promote later albums. My library holds almost every book written about him and he band. I was devastated on April 5, 1994, when he died, as most fans were.

So, you can imagine how excited I am that his widow, Courtney Love, is going to auction off some of his belongings in a bid to move on with her life. I can’t wait. Some of the items I’m hoping she auctions off that I can afford to bid on: a hangnail, a holey sock, a discarded tissue, some earwax, or even some evaporated sweat. Of course, if I can sneak in a low bid for a flannel shirt, some scrawled lyrics, or even a pair of his sunglasses I’ll be happy.

    dude me ,myself are a huge kurt cobain fan! i even created my own religon based on kurt,
    “cobainism”i worship and pray to kurt and he responds back all the time.i can hear his voice. he speaks to me. tell your friends about it.

    If your super crazy about Nirvana, I talk to some of Kurts family and have a couple of items that belonged to Kurt. I have his autograph, a guitar pick, a set of used strings, a home video(uncirculating), some unheard recordings, ect.

    Kurt had the greatest voice, it really touch you, just to bad he had such a selfish wife, that only cared about popularity and money, i believe that if it was´nt for here, Kurt could still be alive today.
