Hello, everyone. I’m still alive. Thanks to everyone who sent emails wondering where I was. I’m going to make this short and sweet because I don’t want to dwell on it or make it a big issue.

I’m taking an extended hiatus from ASP. I don’t know how long “extended” is, but I leave the site in good hands. The other writers seem to be doing a great job and I’m confident that the good news will continue to flow from the site. While I still maintain ownership of the site, I’m handing the reigns over to CPL M to run and manage it as he sees fit. This is a self-imposed hiatus until I can get back on track with some personal issues. I have not been ordered nor “strongly encouraged” to give up blogging by anyone in the military (except myself).

In the meantime, I’m going to dedicate more time to They Have Names. I’m also going to spend a bit more time with my family. These past two weeks have been stressful, but the time I’ve had with my family has been wonderful. I’m always available by email if you have questions and will keep up with what is being written by others.

It’s been fun and look forward to when I’m able to write again.
