I had a chance to interview the creator of this video, 15-year old Lizzie Palmer.

CJ: Why did you create this video?
LP: I wanted to show my gratitude and support for every servicemember and felt that I can’t do much (because of my age) but I could do what I was able. I hope it gets my message across.

CJ: Are you in the military or do you have family in the military (Naturally, I didn’t know she was 15 until later)?
LP: Being 15, I’m not old enough to be in the military but hope to enlist in the Army after I graduate from high school. I have a cousin-in-law in the Army National Guard, my grandfathers were in the Navy and Air Force, and I have a very good friend in Iraq with the Army.

CJ: How old are you and where do you live (you don’t have to be specific, a state is fine)?
LP: I’m 15 and live in Ohio (Go Bucks!)

CJ: Are you involved in any other Soldier support projects?
LP: When I have the means, I try my best to send care packages and letters to servicemen and women via AnySoldier.com.

CJ: If you could speak to every Soldier, Sailor, Airman and Marine, what would you tell them?
LP: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! If I could, I would give each and every one of you a hug (if you wanted one, that is, haha)!
