A SOLDIER'S PERSPECTIVE
THE WEB'S LEADING MILITARY BLOG SINCE 2004
I’ve been trying to find the words to write about CJ since he announced he is taking an extended coffee break. I’ve known CJ for a little over a year now, and I can’t tell any of you how great of a friend he is. While we have never met face to face, I consider him a brother. He has been there for me in the good times and bad, and nothing I can say or do will suffice as a thank you. CJ, you will be missed around here. I think I speak for all of us when I say we can’t wait for you to come back.
In the mean time, I’ll be the main point of contact for the blog. I’m able to check my email on a regular basis, so don’t hesitate to send one if needed. The address is linked to the right of this entry near the top of the sidebar. I have some big plans in mind for the site once I get back from the sandbox that will hopefully be to everyone’s liking. That is a good amount of time off from now, so I’ll talk about that more once the plans start taking shape.
Lastly, thanks to everyone for being part of this little family here in the blogosphere.

Marcus I’m looking forward to the new changes you have in mind. I too hope that CJ doesn’t take too long of a coffee break. He’ll be missed for sure.

Very nice, good job, Cpl. M! Yes, CJ is one AWESOME dude! He’s been missed for awhile now,
and will continue being missed, but he and his family, sooo deserve a coffee break!
I know you can do it!

I think we are all going to miss CJ, but I totally understand his needing a break. I have not been real good here lately about posting. I will try to do better. Marcus, you will do well. I have all the faith in the world in you. And as always, you are more than welcome to email me if you need support, or to bounce things off me.

Cpl M,
I so appreciate this blog and CJ and you and all that post here. Yes, it is like a family because we usually speak our mind to one another. Thanks for taking over the blog for CJ for awhile. We will miss CJ and he does seem like family, just like you and the others here. I have never met any of you, yet I feel connected somehow. Thanks again for the great work that you do and I’m sending good thoughts for CJ too !!

Hello.
I would consider it a privilege if you would add my blog “The Tygrrrr Express” http://www.blacktygrrrr.wordpress.com to your list of linked sites if you feel the quality is high.
Happy June,
eric
P.S. I do blog on Townhall, but WordPress is my primary location.

Hey CplM…does this mean we get to, you know, jump on the furniture…stay up late, watch bad tv…and let the dishes fill up in the sink?
Cpl M
Only if you clean it up!
Tracy
CJ will be missed, but he has left the blog in very capable hands!
Wifey of Cpl M
There will be no jumping on the furniture.
Cpl M
Bah, ignore her. I said it was okay! We’re buying new furniture anyway.
Tracy
Hah, Cpl M, it’s easy to say “ignore her” when your wife is thousands of miles away
Wifey of Cpl M
Cpl M you get to only sit on the naughty bench! For the rest of you, we may have to get a bigger bench, if you don’t listen!
Cpl M
I thought you learned by now that the “naughty bench” doesn’t phase me one bit. If anything, I’ll act worse! I think I’ll go jump on the couch now.
LL
Oh no you don’t!! I’ll tell on you. Don’t think he can’t hear you from the other room sproinging off the furniture!! If I have to continue to watch my language, you boys canNOT stay up late playing X-Box and eating baked beans out of the can. And NO drinking out of the milk carton either! And definitely no jumping on the furniture.
