Thank you all for your Sacrifices. The documentary of what YOU all endure on a daily basis is truly heroic. I do not understand why we are. I do not see us changing things that can justify the fear & losses you all have endured. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. You all have made it real.
The Media only lets you know what they want and what the
government wants the people to know. It is sad that you all put your lives on hold and live the way you do and for what. What type of Medical Care do you get or benefits. Your families also only receive the minimum of benefits. OUR Politicians make sure that they and their families are well taken care of, financially and in every other way. Again I wish you the best and will pray everyday for your safe return home. !!!!!!!!

CJ, As I watched “Band of Bloggers”, I saw many things. I would hope that we can all put aside our views of war, for a moment. The fact of the matter is this, these are OUR troops, we need to support THEM. They will be there for the foreseeable future. In my view, and the view of many vets, there is a system disconnect between the civilian and military worlds. The irony is there are a small group of people who understand both worlds, let’s call them, “bridge people”. When you “drill down” into their character, you will find this one common trait in the core of their behavior. They all have one thing in common, they have a tangible, concrete sense of sacrifice. This trait is what makes the milbloggers an extraordinary community of “bridge people”. -”Grumpy”

I watched the program and thought it was magnificent! A well deserved glimpse into the lives of our soldiers.

As a female veteran, I really appreciate the realism, the reality of war. I am glad that there is a way for the soldier to tell their sides of the story, their experiences in their words without someone telling them what they can say. I am proud of the men and women that have served for the US during this difficult time. They are doing their job, and I believe they are doing a great one at that. Thanks, May God bless and watch over you.
