Before I ask the real question, I wanted to let everyone know I’ve changed my display name to read as just Marcus. I’ve become less and less worried about people knowing my name over the last year or so and finally remembered to make the change.

Now, the reason this is filed under my War Journal is because the two stories I want to tell happened while I was in Iraq. Which one would all of you like to read first? The story about the IED I was almost involved with or the stolen Iraqi Police vehicles? Leave a comment with your vote and I’ll write the story up in the next couple of days.

  1. I want to hear both, but since I can only read one at a time my vote is for the IED.

  2. I counter CJ and say a good stolen cop car story.

  3. Stolen police vehicles.

When I saw you were just calling yourself Marcus, I thought maybe it was because you were no longer a CPL.

  4. Cops & Robbers! …Um, Robbers & Soldiers &… Cop cars!

  5. If your track record means anything (and it does) both stories have to be GREAT.

Hey, I am voting with CJ, lets hear about the IED’s first.

  6. Uhhhhhhh, the IED one makes me skeered, so let’s go with the stolen trucks.

  7. I say the IED story first.

  8. The stolen vehicles first please!

  9. Doesn’t my vote count for five or something?

  10. I’m with CJ, I want to hear about the IED first, please!!

  11. Well, since I saw first hand what can happen when things get stolen that should be, I would like to hear about the cop cars and find out how this big problem is being handled. I know many have lost their lives to insurgents posing as police.

  12. IF the cops were left standing at a road side donut shop watching their cars peel away into the sunset, I would want to hear that one first.

  13. Cops win! I’ll try to get it written and posted by tonight.

  14. Oh and I’m still a Corporal, Anthony. I should get promoted before too much longer, though.
