By now, I’m sure you heard about the Navy being harrassed by Iranian speedboats in international waters. The boats were warned with verbal and visual signals to back off. The Navy has released a video of the encounter. Those guys are lucky our warships didn’t obliterate them, especially after broadcasting to the Navy that they will “explode in a few minutes”.

  1. CJ,
Do you think this was a trial run by the Iranians to see what our guys would do? They must be nuts to make a run a our ships like that!

  2. I think it very well could have been. But, it could also have been completely unarmed boats with the intent to provoke the Navy into firing on them to create an international incident. If the Navy had done what they had every right to do and fired shots, the Iranians probably would have felt justified bombing American targets in Iraq or even launching strikes against Israel. There’s no telling how sinister the Iranians can be.

  3. Yes, I agree that the Iranians can be very sinister I’m sure. They said this morning on the news that the Iranians said that the incident never happened. They are good at lying too sounds like! The navy has the video to prove that it did happen.
