I’m only interested in the facts, sue, not a bunch of ad hominen attack. Thanks for agreeing, however, that the current bill contains no provision calling for withdrawal, as is the case. We can move on from here and find additional points of common ground, I am certain of that.

Oh do please pardon me for making a mistake CF. The Good Lord knows you have never done so. I missed some of the news during my recovery. But the stupidity of the Democrats in Congress and the Senate for what they DID try to sneak into the bill is still the same. Undermining a fledgling government struggling to right itself is not the answer CF. And I did notice that you didn’t dispute the rest of my post.

CF, you have been on here long enough to know that Sue does more “research on your own” than any of us. I really don’t think you have ever done any “research on your own”. All we ever get from you are “Move On Dot Smear” talking points. One would think with a moniker like “CriticalFacts” that you would actually want to contribute to a conversation rather than resort to name calling and distortion of facts.

Seems like you are agreeing with Miss Ladybug in that they inserted a Poison Pill into the Bill. One might think that someone interested in “CriticalFacts” would have addressed the actual “CriticalFacts” in this case. The Poison Pill !!!

Well, sue, I just don’t know what to say other than ask that you point out to me in the current bill where there appears an artificial timetable for withdrawl. Otherwise, I guess Miss Ladybug and I are stuck with trying to prove a negative to you, a rather difficult task, indeed. Bottom line, there is no timetable in the current bill, and if you did some research on your own you would come to that realization.

CF, I believe the last bill that went to the President’s desk did have timetables for pull outs in it and that had to do with why it was vetoed. You’re ignorant use of disparaging remarks against the President for the thrill affect that you get from it just shows how incredibly immature you really are. As CJ pointed out, the “Facts” in your name belies anything that comes out of your mouth, and every one here has heard your little comments till we truly can’t stomach them any more. You have nothing of worth to say. You have proved that over and over and over again. Just look at your posts. No “Facts” what so ever. Just derogatory condescending remarks and your twisted political garbage. But lucky you, first that CJ has the patience of a saint and by his good grace allows you to still be here, and second, you get to live in a country where your filth is tolerated, and you have that right to say it because of great men like CJ who provide, with their very lives the blanket of freedom you so comfortably sleep in peace under every night while you degrade everything they fight for and stand for. Hum…well along with a pay cut, I think they need to be required to do x number of hours of free community service (the main purpose of which would be to reduce their free time for campaiging since that’s all they do in life.)

Well said C.J.. I keep thinking over and over your question’ “What are we paying these politicians for?” If anyone shoild have a pay cut it is Congress in Washington and not the members of our armed forces. One last thing. If Sen. Obama thinks paople forget what he said over the past few months , he’s in for a big surprise. He has denied the success of the surge and he said that America should not prevent a genocide in Iraq. he is totally wrong. Respectfully, Tom Folan
