I arrived in the Camp Lejeune area on 2 January 2003 for my initial MOS school. The seven week training that turned into three months (not enough class seats available due to the holidays) was on a smaller camp down US 24 from “mainside” Camp Lejeune. After graduation, I moved up the road to mainside and began my career as an admin guy. My enlistment was almost up and time was time to sign a new contract with a new job. I’ve since deployed to Iraq and attended a formal school in San Diego. Camp Lejeune has been good to me for the most part, now it is time to move.

Anna and I (more her than me) are in the process of getting things organized and ready for the move. I’ll be headed down to South Carolina where I’ll be with the air wing. I’ve never worked with the wing so this will be a new experience for me. I should be settled in around the end of the month, so the next few weeks are going to be busy busy busy.
