No, all his blog posts have been deleted.. The uproar was due to a post he had written (and not vetted) in regards to his refusal to take a promotion. In his refusal, the remark was made of "him being on the CO's sh*t list". I hated to see that axiom "paybacks a b*tch" come true.
City Girl has taken up Kaboom to keep us informed about the Cpt.G and Gravediggers. Her latest relates to one of them (PV2 Hotwheels) being in a accident resulting in 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 60% of his body. Prayers are being requested and said continously.
But I too miss Cpt G's writing. Tis a shame for sure.

It's a fine line we walk as active duty bloggers. I live by a simple creed when I criticize my leaders: never say something on a blog you aren't willing to say in person. Granted, the lives of NCOs and the lives of Officers are often work in perpendicular fashion with Officers being required to be more politically correct. Good luck to LT G. I'm appalled that he was told to delete his blog. Thankfully, that's an order he realized was outside the bounds of their authority.

I sure hope he is able to return to blogging. His blog was one of my favorites. His writing style is unique and refreshing.

Did he cross the line when writing about his Commander? Maybe. But...his ability to bring to life the daily stress, successes, failures and situations without one incling of any OPSEC violations was amazing.

His blog is, in my opinion, a real loss to the blogosphere.
