I wonder if it would be smart for us to sell our most capable warfighting technology to Iraq at this stage. Tremendous success has been made since the new Sec of Defense and General Petraeus have taken over, but there is no guarantee that this stability will continue. Who knows what might happen in the future, especially if we pull out too soon and Iran volunteers to fill the void. We could end up with these advanced tanks and our own technology being used against our interests.

It’s either sell them the best gear or run the risk of Iran getting all uppity with them.
