I saw this online last week, and it still makes me laugh…not necessarily because of the content, but more because it reminds me of someone I work with.
This person has stated more than a few times that she will be voting for Obama for a change from the last eight years, Bush lied and troops died, no terrorists before Bush was President, selected not elected, blah, blah, blah, crap, crap, crap. She’s also voting for Obama because she can’t stand McCain.
Now I’m not exactly John McCain’s biggest fan, but I was compelled to ask why a couple of weeks ago, and the answer floored me…just not in the sense that it was so profound that the mere words were inspiration enough for me to see myself as the racist that I am for not committing myself to the Obama ticket. No, sir…it was the kind of floored that makes one stop and say: “Seriously? You actually believe that?”
The answer was: “McCain supporters are nothing but sheep.”
And it was at that point, doctor, that I blacked out.
I’ll be voting Obama because I prefer him in office more than McCain, and not because I do not like McCain or his minority of supporter nutbags who seem to find themselves on the MSM.
This was funny, but completely false. This country will become Socialist over my cold, dead body. The even funnier event is that the currently appoved GWB bailout plan is where the government will buy equity stake in banks, which is the beginning of when Germany moved toward Socialism after WWI.

I can’t really disagree with you. While there are plenty of things on which I agree with Dubya, this ain’t necessarily one of them. What scares me is, unless I just didn’t notice, I haven’t really heard anyone say how long this equity stake deal will last. 6 months? A year? Two years?
It’s just a tad creepy for my money…as long as it’s still my money.
What people don’t realize is that in 6 months this will be for naught. No one will care if McCain really divorced his wife in anticipation of a “trophy wife” or whether Barack actually sank that hook shot from this side lines. It will matter if they have the meddle to change our country for the better. At this point, all kidding asside, I don’t have the same confidence in the Republican Party as I used. They certainly aren’t conservatives and I shudder their invocation of Reagan’s name as none of them could shine Mr. Reagan’s shoes.
So, its Obama under protest.
