A SOLDIER'S PERSPECTIVE
THE WEB'S LEADING MILITARY BLOG SINCE 2004
A California sperm bank recently announced a one-year extension of a program that grants a year of free sperm storage for service members and civilian first-responders, along with a 50% discount on standard service fees. The company, Cryobank, says it also can perform post-mortem sperm retrieval within 48 hours after death. In addition to hte possibility of death, many men, the company points out, simply choose to store their semen (not Seamen) in case of an injury or infertility.
The company’s discount applies to standard service fees, which include the initial consultation, semen testing, freezing and ongoing storage past the first year. With the discount, the total initial cost is $325.75. The company has offices in Los Angeles and Palo Alto, California, as well as Cambridge, Massachusetts.
For those of you interested (BT, you paying attention, bro?), you can reach Cryobank by calling – I’m serious here – (866) 4-SPERMBANK. Does this have you all worked up in a frenzy? You can visit their website for all this information and more great and wonderful surprises by visiting www.cryobank.com. If you’re looking for other places to “make a deposit”, check out www.ihr.com/infertility/provider/spermbank.html. No, this wasn’t a paid announcement. When I learned about this company, I came to the conclusion that more people are probably interested in making a deposit as well. After the kind of day I had, I thought this post would make a great climax. It was sort of a spurt of the moment type thing. There is no way I would ever discharge my duties in keeping you all informed about deals for our troops. All puns intended.

CJ, I loved all the puns in the post. Glad they were intended, rather than just an accidental laugh!
