Sue you are so right. I believe Doug does kick his dog, but better yet I believe that if his pet bird broken his wing Doug would yang the good out to match and then complain about how much it was going to cost to heal it and set it free.

SSgJ(boy I love that name) you are also very right. Bob you will be in my prayers also.

Doug, you are right, the left did a great job of undermining the President. Just imagine how much more President Bush could have gotten done if the left was actually the LOYAL opposition instead of the sabbotage brigade.

Wow Doug, you are just such a cheery ray of sunshine to have around. Do you kick your dog every day for fun too?? Since Clinton failed so unbelievably miserably on his Middle East Peace Initiative that was one of the centerpieces of his whole presidency, I would say that any progress, no matter whether you think its enough or not, from Bush, would be a vast improvement now wouldn’t it?

There’s a lot of achiements identified with words like “advancing”, “identified”,
“beginning, etc. What are the actual results?

Palestine: Hamas elected, territory split in 2, no progress to peace agreement
Iran: No progress, they’re still enriching, and their principal enemy has been removed
Iraq: Over 100,000 dead (4200 of ours), infrstructure gutted and looted, about 12% refugees or dislocated, more troops still there after 6 years than during the invasion
Saudi Arabia: no change in fundamentalism
Pakistan: more unstable than ever
Afghanistan: the Taliban is slowly winning (now active in 3/4 of the country, 5/6 of the roads from Kabul are unsafe), world’s largest opium exporter
Syria: no change
AQ: still active, and you-know who’s still free
All for only a trillion dollars and climbing.

Results matter – not highfalutin intentions.

Well, yes and no. I originally injured my L1 vertebrae while i was moving at the end of September 2007. I thought it was just a sore back, and ignored it. Then in February of 2008, I was diagnosed with an L1 injury. Lot of medical terms I won’t go into. This, combined with my weight, pretty much has left me bedridden for months. I tried to get some treatment, but my job fired me because of it.

I feel better, but still in lots of pain. I’m gutting it out until I can get something with benefits.

Hi all! I’m back after a long absence due to some medical issues. I’m still laid up, but at least I’m not bedridden anymore.

As concerns President Bush leaving office, I have this to say.

Good sir, I may not have agreed with things you did, but that’s my right as an American citizen. I would like to thank you for your service through a very difficult time in our nation’s history. The history books may not be kind to you, but you are a real patriot. Thank you for your service to our county.
