Agreed, this stuff gets hashed out and occasionally makes news. I actually hope this type of discussion is going on as open frank discussion is how you get to a solution.

Bush deserved whatever he was called and more. Indeed, how funny is it that neither Bush nor Cheney will ever be able to travel freely abroad for fear that they will be arrested on the spot and subsequently prosecuted for crimes against humanity. Obama has a long way to go to top that feat!

Mel, my chain of command is well aware of my blogging activities. No one needs to forward anything. I work closely with my command, the DA, and the DOD. I don’t always agree with them and they don’t always agree with me, but guess what? They know I’m free to say anything I want regardless of content. I haven’t broken any rules here. I know what my rights are as well as my left and right limits. Thanks for your service, but please feel free to take a dose of your own medicine.

And you all actually BELIEVE this is going to happen…

Lay off the Kool-Aide folks.

You know how these budget deal work. They were brainstorming on how to save money, somebody tossed this out, the thought for a second, laughed, and then moved on. Unfortunately, they had a secretary there recording it, and that got leaked.

They’re not going to do it. We’d have a military rebellion on our hands if they did. And they know it. Even if Obama somehow did try to get this passed, it would never make it through congress. And even if somehow, someway, it did get done, the amount of men leaving the military would be catastrophic. Every single top leadership officer would resign.

Relax. This isn’t going to happen.
