A SOLDIER'S PERSPECTIVE
THE WEB'S LEADING MILITARY BLOG SINCE 2004
Just a little tech update as all of you know I like to fiddle around with things. More and more people are using phones to browse the net and we here at A Soldier’s Perspective realize the main site is truly intended for full computer browsers. Loading the site on a mobile phone can take forever when your signal isn’t that great or if you’re using an older phone. This just makes the experience of reading ASP cumbersome and not that entertaining.
To correct this issue, I’ve installed a new plugin that will autodetect the browser being used and use a mobile friendly theme if the browser falls within a certain set of mobile browsers. The mobile theme is fully functional and you will be able to comment a read articles. As always, please let me know if this breaks things for you if you’re not using a mobile browser.
I hope those of you using mobile browsers are pleased with this change!

Didn’t have any effect on my desktop Firefox, Marcus (at least none that I can see).

Hey Marcus, the mobile version loads well on my phone, but I can’t seem to open a story even when I click on it. The “Search” or “Next” buttons at the bottom work fine though.
