Unfortunately, they always seem to trot out nut bags that are farther to the right than she is to the left. Really hard to imagine any other senator pulling that kind of crap. Essentially, she is trying to demand respect by being disrespectful. And you know, I'm a slightly left-leaning Californian myself and I really can't stand her. Those of us not presently in our country's service but having great respect for the military want to know what its like from their side. If the authors start a discussion on their perspective of "Jon and Kate plus 8", I may skip such posts. I don't have a problem with the sitting head of the Senate Committee asking to be addressed as Senator (that is within her right).
