And not just because I say so, but because it’s true.  There are so many pearls of wisdom here and its not even finished.  A unique and glorious project that makes me feel good to read when I am especially downtrodden by life’s current form.

1001 rules for my unborn son

I hope some offering of hope compels the readers of this post to spread the word of this project to all ends of the earth.  We could only become more advanced in our civilization and better for it.

  1. Well done!

  2. 1002: Don’t have an affair with an Argentinian woman when you are governor of the state of South Carolina and a Bible thumping lunatic – you look really stupid when you get caught!!

    • You forgot one more thing CF, “Don’t screw women in weird hotels as a former Vice President.”

      • Isaac:

OMG. What has Dick Cheney done now?

        • My bad, “Nominated VP”. But I’m man enough to admit Cheney also did some REALLY stupid stuff through his career.

        • Isaac:

          Amen, brother, amen!

    • Is your statement “Bible thumping lunatic” a personal attack against the governor or an attack against ALL people of faith?

      • Hmm, just a question CF, I’ve always wondered what your faith is.

      • My faith is catholic – the one “true” faith.

Ssgt: My comment is certainly not an attack against people of faith. Rather, it is a statement illustrating the sheer hypocrisy of so many right-wing lunatics who stand at a pedestal, Bible in hand, and take pot shots at the democratic opposition – Newt G., Sanford and John Ensign are just three of many who come to mind of recent. It’s not that dems are incapable of committing the same shortcomings – Bill Clinton being a perfect example – it’s just that dems generally do not go out on a limb of faith before doing so. For heck’s sake – Newt was cheating on his wife(s) while at the same time pointing his finger at Clinton. Sheer hypocrisy is the GOP – most of it anyway. Oh well, who cares, as the GOP swirls toward irrelevance anyway. Sanford is just the latest to help toward that end.

        • I noticed you don’t mention any Democrat hypocrites in there. That’s your problem and why you’ll never be credible.

        • cj:

The point is GOP hypocrites – when it comes to stated positions on morality – far outnumber democratic hypocrites on the same subject. I didn’t say dem hypocrites did not exist, they are just far outnumbered by their GOP counterparts when it comes to Bible-thumping followed by moral transgressions. I suspect you know what I mean, having recently left the GOP yourself.

  3. Great stuff Snake. I’ll take them as rules for myself too.
