UPDATE: Thanks for everyone for helping me. I’ve met my goal now and you can stop sending in donations. I truly appreciate. Most of the coffee was already sent out and now the rest will go out this week to troops in Afghanistan!
I sent out a Tweet and an email ask for assistance to send out another huge shipment of coffee to troops. My initial request was for a total of $500, however, with the money that’s already come in I think I can do it for much less. After sending out the first $200 in coffee boxes, I’m pretty sure I can send it all out for just $350 instead of $500. I only lack an additional $140 to send out the rest.
Because of all this coffee we’ve been sending out, I’ve gotten numerous letters and emails. One unit even sent me a flag that flew over a base in Afghanistan, which I presented to the local Starbucks collecting the coffee. The troops are grateful and anything I receive is because of your commitment and support.
If you can help me raise the additional $140, please use the donation button on the sidebar. I’ll let everyone know the progress so I don’t collect more than needed. And thank you again.

Seriously though, I don’t know if she can read your blog from there, but shoot an email to her AKO address.
I’ll see what I have left after paying bills this week also, major changes on the economic front have happened here so I’m giving penny pinching a new name at the moment.
