We’ve mentioned over and over again over at the You Served Blog and on our weekly You Served Radio Show about our Ebay store. Maybe people aren’t aware of how to find or maybe the economy is so bad people can’t afford to place a $1.99 bid on a t-shirt. Or maybe, just maybe, the items we’re putting up aren’t what you’re really looking for.

In any case, I want to take a moment to tell you about our You Served store on Ebay. Each week we add a few new items at virtually no cost for you to bid on. For example, this week we’ve got up a signed Gina Elise t-shirt. Gina is the impetus behind Pinups For Vets and has donated a few shirts to our store. We also have a signed copy of Christian Davenport’s book, As You Were.

Both items are up for auction with a low starting bid. And here’s the best part of this: EVERY CENT COLLECTED (not including shipping) GOES STRAIGHT TO FISHER HOUSE!! As you know, the Fisher House program is a unique private-public partnership that supports America’s military in their time of need. The program recognizes the special sacrifices of our men and women in uniform and the hardships of military service by meeting a humanitarian need beyond that normally provided by the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. And we provide a way to donate to this worthy cause AND get something in return!

Now, we recognize that neither of these items may be of interest to you, but surely you support a troop in combat or recently returned who may like it. We relisted these items numerous times and we’re getting to a point where it’s costing more to list than we would be sending to the charity.

So, please take a moment each week to see what we’re offering and help us help wounded troops by bidding on these 2 or 3 items each week. They are all donated to us directly from the authors and creators, so there is no overhead except the Ebay listing fees. HERE is the link to the store that you can bookmark for future use.
