A SOLDIER'S PERSPECTIVE
THE WEB'S LEADING MILITARY BLOG SINCE 2004
Last year, I wrote a book review of “44 Days Out of Kandahar: The Amazing Journey of a Missing Military Puppy and the Desperate Search to Find Her” by Christine Sullivan. If you never got a chance to read this excellent book, fret not.
The book is being released this time as a hardcover with a new title, “Saving Cinnamon”. The book is an expanded version of “44 Days Out of Kandahar” with more stories about the troops, Cinnamon and what happened with the dog handler after the fact. It’s even got a new publisher. I won’t rehash the review since you can read it here. But, there is some good news on this rerelease, which I’ve placed on the sidebar. For each book you buy through either the link below or on my sidebar, the author will make a donation to Fisher House.
