It was Michelle Obama who said it best when she said, “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I’m really proud of my country…because I think people are hungry for change.” And after just eight short months, change is what people REALLY want.
Estimates range from 1.2 to 2 million marchers in DC. I don’t think the other side was ever able to muster that kind of strength against Bush, were they? Please prove me wrong.

This is the most beautiful picture of the Amerian People expressing thier feelings I’ve seen in my life time. Yes, It is NOW time for change.

I’m proud so many people could attend. Wish I’d been there, too! Of course, according to Robert (Baghdad Bob) Gibbs, the WH wasn’t aware anything was going on. I noticed his nose growing even as he spoke. :^)

I was able to attend and it was beautiful. I haven’t been that exhilarated in years. There were young adults, middle-aged working stiffs, families with strollers, vets, even a big group of 90+-year old WWII vets in their wheelchairs. And yes, there were lots of different skin colors whatever that means.
After the march I visited the Vietnam Memorial to share the joyous feeling with some friends listed on the wall. The media has already started the ridicule and belittling of the event, but we know what happened and it will be reflected in the 2010 elections. Thank you God for the USA

I was at the march in DC yesterday. I’ve never been in a place with such a sea of humanity! The signs were unbelievable! My room mate Wendy took video which we will be putting on utube if we can figure out how to do it. We’re sending a copy to Glenn Beck too. People were so nice and sweet! It was wonderful to be around such like minded people! I’ve always been a proud American and proud of my country, and yesterday we showed the world that it’s not only me that feels that way! Can you hear us now…We The People!

We came from Texas to the March and what a wonderful experience it was. It’s almost been a week and my feet still haven’t touched the ground. I have hope now. These were wonderful people that marched. These were Veterans, old people, young people, families, and we were one. No one was arrested, no one trashed anything, and I have never felt safer. We visited all the monuments and memorials. I still get choked up when I read Thomas Jefferson’s words. God bless America!
