Talking to many people who were there, they're furious with BOTH Republicans and Democrats! I think a LOT of Republicans are also going to get a wake up call and I wouldn't be surprised if a few third party candidates for the House won out over the two main parties. I doubt it, David. I keep hearing about waiting until 2010. If the intended solution here is merely partisan and that voting Republicans into office will solve the issue, then this was a wasted movement. Awesome and inspiring, but wasted. Republicans were also complicite in a lot of the unchecked spending going on. The biggest issue had to do with not appropriately budgeting/planning for a very long/expensive war. Healthcare is still a huge issue, especially with more vets coming home to an already bloated VA system. It will be interesting to see if this movement is a one-hit wonder or a long term, viable player. I'm hoping for the latter. NY-David I’m genuinely interested in what happens next.
