The Myth Of Security in School Uniforms

Last night, the district security supervisor lobbied in favor of school uniforms as a means to reduce violence and discipline issues. If that’s the case, what happened with the kid beaten to death in Chicago. Warning: this video is graphic, but there is no blood. Notice all the kids dressed similarly? Couldn’t just be coincidence.

    I grew up in Chicago. The chuckling during the filming infuriates me more than you will ever know. I am grateful though, for the fact that it was filmed. Hopefully, they will all be caught.

    I agree with you on this one CJ, coming from a country where all students need to where uniforms. They do NOT stop bad behaviour, I support uniforms because it gives students a sense of belonging. I think the school’s logic is warped. Keep it up CJ.
