The 'armour of God.' Just thought of it the other day and meant to look it up. Thanks for this. I'm a new reader. Ironically, the first entry I read turned up a coincidence. I have an acquaintance who was in the company that was rescued by the Alpha Troop that received the PUC recently. Apparently, one of the few surviving members of the rescued company is working on a memoir.

That is the best thing about dads........they give great advice.

When you always tell the truth, you have nothing to hide. Too bad the PTA is covering their tracks.

Yep, one of my favorite passages as well. Remember we are not warring "just" against flesh and blood - there's a spiritual enemy who's ultimately behind it all. Prayer is one of (if not THE) greatest weapon in addition to all the other, natural stuff we do.

Do the right thing, keep yerself prayed up, and remember God is walking with you every step of the way, come hell or high water.

That's one of my favorite scriptures also, CJ. You are not fighting against flesh and blood only so you can rest assured that God will fight your battle. Hang in there and things will work out for the better!

As the wife of a Pastor, this is a section of scripture that we lean on heavily. When things got tough at our last congregation, I gave my husband the same advice; do what you feel is right and let the chips fall where they may. Things may get unpleasant for a while buy God will bring you through it.

God Bless You and Your Dad CJ. He gave you the right advice. As long as we stay honest and truthful we have nothing to hide or worry about. We DO win in the end and THEY have to answer to their Maker just as you and I will.
