Join us tonight for another great You Served Radio Show with me, Troy and Marcus. Tonight’s guests include Lindy Kyzer, former head of Department of the Army social media, now freelance public affairs in the corporate world. She’s also recently started her own blog at www.LindyKyzer.com for those want to check out. We consider her a GREAT friend and look forward to interviewing her.

During the second hour, we’ll be talking with Mike Jones from Not Alone is coming back on You Served Radio to talk to us about the new changes and updates from Not Alone and what they are up to.

Naturally, we’ll also talk about relevant military news and information between guests as well as the recent CNN piece and the fallout from that.

Up for auction at our You Served military charity auction that supports Vets 4 Vets, we have a brand new, sealed DVD copy of “Everyman’s War”, a movie set during WWII. This film won the 2009 GI Film Festival for Best Narrative Feature. You can view a 3 minute movie trailer for “Everyman’s War” or check out the article “Filmmaker’s ‘Everyman’s War’ Honors His Ex-GI Father”. Remember, 100% of the proceeds from this auction go directly to Vets 4 Vets!

The show airs tonight from 7-9pm EST at www.blogtalkradio.com/youserved. See ya there!

Update from Marcus: Don’t forget this is also the last week we’ll be on Thursday. We’ll be on Tuesday evenings from 8-10 eastern starting on the third of August.

And just because I have to pick on CJ, we’re currently on daylight savings, so it’s really EDT. *grin*

It’s really tough being a dependent. Breaking news is TriCare’s new online, telephone, and videoconferencing mental health services. This just went live today, and I think will be big news in the military dependent community. Check out this article about this service. http://drpullen.com/2010/07/29/tricare-provide-free-confidential-counseling-for-military-dependents/
