A SOLDIER'S PERSPECTIVE
THE WEB'S LEADING MILITARY BLOG SINCE 2004
Obviously, I’m a huge supporter in the right to keep and bear arms. Any freedom-loving American would. In the best funded cities, there is only a 2.5/1000 ratio of officers vs. citizens. The actual average is below that. And that 2.5 isn’t always on duty. So, when someone is trying to break into your house, the likelihood that a police officer will be there before the criminal leaves isn’t that good. The Declaration of Independence identifies “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” as inalienable rights that every man, woman and child is entitled to. Our laws are [supposed to be] written to protect those that use force to defend and protect that pursuit. I don’t know about y’all, but no one that breaks into my house while I’m home will live to talk about it or do it again.
So, in that spirit, I LOVE this commercial!
