Men's Vertx Tactical Pants

Fit and comfort is awsome! I now have several pair.

I tried my 1st pair a month ago, and bought 2 more last week. They are the most comfortable pants ever!

I bought my first pair roughly 7 months ago since I was fed up working with blue jeans and dealing with the weight, chafing and stickiness they inflict. I was working as a contractor/carpenter/handyman at the time. These pants are some of the best I've ever wore! I've used them under my bunker gear during our fire department's training days, have wore them doing countless airsoft scrimmages and training days. They dry very rapidly and I have never ever gotten any chafing from these even while they were completely drenched in sweat, sand and water. They also don't give you that sticky sensation while wet since they hardly try to cling to your skin. the pockets are well built, I carry wrenches, bolts ect in them all day without a problem and I have yet to see any wear and tear on the pants. These pants DO fade fast though, the desert tan turn into near khaki after about 2-3 months or so, depends how much you use them. Also, pocket knife clips tend to wear rapidly on the pant pocket(could have just been my knife style). But other than that, these pants are amazing! Since my first purchase I've bought 2 more pairs, love them all. I'd recommend these to anyone who's looking for durable, light, breathable, comfy cargo type tactical pants. I look forward to buying more products from Vertx.

I bought these for my husband's 37th birthday and he loves them. Wore them to a baseball game and felt comfy and held all his gear and belongings well. We bought the khaki color so he can "blend in" with everyone else. Very happy.

Cheap cut, tight across the pelvis, shallow front pockets, tight and useless. Thin cheap material, zipper on "hidden pocket" unzipped once and never zipped back up. Wore pants twice and threw them in the garbage, stick with Tru-Spec, twice the pants half the price

Most comfortable tactical pant I have ever worn. Will be updating my wardrobe with a bunch of these in every color for everyday use. The first tactical pant that is made for every occasion with out making you look like a cop everywhere you go. Great!

I love these pants. The pockets offer several ways to carry all of your gear. The inner pockets of the cargo pockets easily hold a spare magazine and tactical flashlight (on one side) and are perfect for a iPhone on the other, without printing. The hidden zipper pocket is great for keys and my wallet. I appreciate the 36" inseam since I'm 6'4". The fit is great. They're easy to move in and comfortable all day long. I wear them everywhere. Home, office, the range, wherever. I recently traveled and appreciated all the pockets to carry my stuff on the plane without feely overly bulky. These are extremely well designed pants. I have a pair of 5.11 tactical pants that hang in the closet. I prefer the look and feel of the Vertx.

I wear these pants for IDPA and Long Range Precision Rifle Shooting. They are also excellent for every day use. Lots of room for ease of rapid articulated movement. The pockets are well suited for close in cover, kneeling, and prone positions - no snags and easy pocket access for mag retention/access and loose ammo access. The zippered security pocket is an excellent feature, large enough for keys/wallet ...etc - keeps the clutter out of the way. My only problem is with the belt loop placement on the hip sides. The loops are placed to close to the centerline of the external hip side where a holster/mag carrier needs to be located. VERTX needs to add an additional loop on both the right and left side of the hip area with about 6 inches of clearance between the loops allowing an open space centered on the hip side. This space would allow centering the holster/mag carrier placement for safer/more functional operation. Placement of the other belt loops are satisfactory.

These pants truly are built for the operational athlete. I have thighs that are large in proportion to my waist. These pants not only fit they have room in them. The crotch gusset is by far the best design that I have seen in a tactical pant. I actually wear these pants almost everyday on my bike rides in the winter because they are so comfortable. I did tear one pair in the knee after sliding about 20 ft on my left knee. I received a 1/4" by 1/4" L shaped tear. In my opinion it was remarkable that was all the damage that occurred. I have worn that pair 10 times since without repairing the hole and it has not grown. The cargo pockets are of a great design and still look professional. I wear these pants in an office setting and either nobody notices I'm wearing cargos (a tactical advantage) or they comment on the design when they do. I also enjoy the front pockets with a flat cut at the bottom. This cut allows my knife to ride parallel to my leg and not angle toward the front of the thigh. It also holds a blackberry case well. These pants are superb compared to my 24-7 series pants and I will continue to buy Vertx.

The first pair I received were perfect so I ordered a second pair. The second pair were defective. Returning them was not easy. But I did receive a refund. I'm disappointed in Vertx and Tactical Pants.

I like these for weapons/field training in most weather over my Kitanicas for comfort and flexibility

My friend who's a cop told me about these pants. I crawl around on my hands and knees, move, transport and setup heavy, dirty and awkward gear every day. I routinely destroy trousers after a month or two at most. I needed a discreet, durable and reasonably price alternative that would fit into a corporate culture. Truth be told I haven't tried the 5.11 pants. Excellent choice for those who need khakis that last and are really functional. Size up a bit...

These pants are the best tactical pants I have owned. I bought a couple pairs of 24/7 pants and liked them. I have a 42 inch waist, in jeans, with larger thighs. The 24/7 are really tight in the legs. So I went up to 44 waist and they were better. I opted to try the Vertx and ordered a pair of 44's. They are the best fit for me. They truly are for the operational athlete. I can squat all the way down and could probably play basketball in them. They are discreet in the pockets as advertised and look very professional.

Very solid construction, do not look like your standard cop pants. Solid material, good fit and finish. Sizing is suspect, I ordered a 38 waist and measured it as actually being a 36 1/2" - the elastic serves no useful purpose either. Order one size larger and you'll be happy with the fit.

PSD in Iraq. I hate 5.11 pants and refuse to wear them...so I was very happy after wearing Vertx pants. Good pockets, comfy, like the articulated knee. These are dressy enough to wear with a sport coat and not look like a complete dork. They tend to run a little small in the waist and a little long in length...at least to me. I went a size up in waist and my regular length. I would give them a 5 star if they were rip-stop....hope they are not too hot in the summer but I think they'll be ok.

Ordered 2 pair in OD and khaki. Casual enough yet functional. I am ordering more! They don't scream tactical and the side pockets are really handy and low key.

The Good - articulated knee, low profile pockets on side, good belt loops, hidden pocket, elastic waist, gusseted crouch, comfortable cotton, nice details The Bad - shallow hand pockets, not ripstop material (got a rip jumping fence), black fades for sure great casual work pants

I have several pair. Overall they are a pretty good design but they collect hair and dust like a lint brush and they are very hot for summer wear in Houston. A lighter weight material would be better for hot climates. Buy a little on the large size because they tend to run about a 1/2 inch small.

I purchased a pair of the vertex tactical pants and just got them. I am very happy with them and now I am waiting for my second pair to arrive. I would buy from this company again no doubt about it.

I purchased a pair of Vertx pants along with several other pants of different brands looking for suitable casual wear pants which still maintain a large amount of cargo carrying capability. These have been the been the best so far. The fit and feel of these pants is excellent. What stands out most for me is that Vertx is able to create a great fit that is relaxed but not baggy and at the same time doing a great job of maintaining a low visual profile. I plan to order a couple more pair and I'm looking forward to their lightweight version for summer wear.

Comfy pants, great set-up, but I had to dye them again after a couple of weeks.

I've worn these in the office, in the field, doing fitness training and on bike patrol. Very comfortable and functional. Mine were black. The high cotton blend fades too fast for regular uniform use. When Vertex makes the pant in a less fade resistant material, I'll be back. I may pick up a pair in khaki for light duty and training, but if you need a pair in a dark color, look elsewhere.

I bought a couple of different brands to test out different tactical pants. Overall, I like these the best. They have all the pockets I want but are more discreet than the others I bought, which is perfect for when I don't want to stand out. The knee is also bent (Vertx calls it articulated) so they fit well standing or sitting without a lot of adjusting to get comfortable. Very cool pants.
