Propper TAC.U Combat Shirts

Would be the perfect shirt but due to the raised collar and zipper its not allowed in my air force unit.

I'd say this is a middle of the road combat shirt for those who are forced to wear armor either CIRAS like configurations or separate soft/plate configurations. I'll say that I'm not all that pleased with the zipper digging into my chest when I have the PC on for a full day of use. On the other hand there is a little bit of padding in the shoulders that helps a bit on those long training days or what not. All said and told this isn't a Massif or Crye Combat shirt by any stretch but for those who are price conscious, these are pretty good deals. Bear in mind that they seem to run a bit on the large side so unless you're running a lot of base layering, consider going a size smaller than you would normally.

compact, the best you can get for the money. thumb hole for getting in to your sleeves pocket faster.

Background: Former Marine Sergeant/Law Enforcement/and some other stuff I only buy TRU and Propper and this Propper product is well made, good design w/ convenient pockets. I never had a problem w/ the zipper and body armor as mentioned in another review. I find it a nice feature to be able to unzip on a water break. Definitely recommend.
